Taught by someone who lived it

I'm Nikkimae — a survivor of 25 years of domestic violence. When my own family turned on me for breaking the cycle, I rebuilt my life on faith, honesty, and tools that actually work. I don't teach theory. I teach what I lived — gentle in how I say it, unmovable in what I say.

"I'm not teaching you to hate the person who hurt you. I'm teaching you how to heal, recognize unhealthy patterns, establish godly boundaries, and stop abandoning yourself in the name of love."

If my pain can save one person, then it was worth it. Maybe that one person is you.

Questions

How do I get the workbook?

Instantly. After checkout, Gumroad gives you the PDF download right away and emails you a receipt with the link. No account needed to buy.

Can I print it?

Yes — it's designed for it. The journal pages are lined and ready for your pen, or you can read and write along on a phone, tablet, or computer.

Do I need to watch the video series first?

No. The workbook stands on its own — it's the series in written, guided form, with the skills and journal work the videos don't have room for.

I'm still in the relationship. Is this for me?

Yes. The early phases are written for exactly where you are — seeing the pattern clearly and learning to trust your own mind again. Go at your pace, and keep your workbook somewhere safe.

Is this therapy?

No — it's peer support and education from a survivor, not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 anytime, or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233. You are worth immediate help.

Your healing doesn't require their participation.

Phase 1

The Awakening

"The first phase of healing is realizing that what you called love may have been a cycle of hurt, apologies, and hope."

You start noticing the patterns. The way they hurt you, blamed you for reacting, and then acted as though nothing happened. You begin questioning why you were always the one apologizing when you weren't the only one causing harm.

The skill: Check the Facts — separate what repeatedly happened from what you hoped would happen. God's truth: Matthew 7:16 — we recognize a tree by its fruit.

Truth to carry: You cannot heal from a pattern you refuse to see — and seeing it is not betrayal. It's the beginning.
